Leave bustling Ho Chi Minh City and travel to My Tho, a peaceful town on the Mekong River. Visit the 19th-century Vinh Trang Pagoda, then cruise along the river to explore the islands of Dragon, Unicorn, Phoenix, and Tortoise.
At Unicorn Island, stroll through village paths, enjoy tropical fruits, and listen to traditional folk music. Continue with a hand-rowed sampan ride through the shady Thoi Son canal, stopping at a honey farm, coconut candy workshop, and local family-run businesses.
