Next, enjoy a local favorite—Vietnamese coffee—at the charming Café Chung Cư, known for its vintage ambiance. Take a 1.5-hour drive from Ho Chi Minh City to visit the famous Cu Chi Tunnels, used during the Vietnam War. First, you’ll watch a short video to learn how the tunnels helped in the war. Then, your guide will show you some clever jungle traps used to protect the area. You can also crawl through the tunnels to feel what it was like for the soldiers. There’s even a shooting range where you can try firing a real gun (optional, extra fee). At the end, you’ll get to taste boiled tapioca, a simple food eaten during the war.
